Lifebands

About Lifebands

The colors on this band represent our lives.

The yellow color represents God's glory. He is perfect like a beautiful sunset but we are not like Him for "we have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23).

The black color represents what our sin brings "for the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23). The darkness of death means we are separated from God and cannot be with Him because of the wrong way we have gone in our lives.

The red color represents the blood of Jesus. "God so loved us that He sent His only Son that we might believe in Him and have eternal life" (John 3:16). We will not have to face that separation from God because Christ died for us when He spilled His blood on the cross.

The white color represents God's forgiveness. White as snow, we can be made pure through Jesus. When we trust in Jesus we are saved. "For by grace we have been saved through faith, and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8).

The green color represents a new life with Jesus that lasts forever. Like the green grass, He helps us grow every day "in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (II Peter 3:18).
