Small Groups & Bible Studies

Small Groups

Small Groups are where we connect with others, build relationships, care for one another and grow together in Christ Jesus (Eph. 4:11-16).

Groups meet regularly throughout the year and determine what they study based on Scripture and how they will serve others based on their group's goals.  All groups are open because all group members are encouraged to invite others so they can experience life together.  Leaders of the groups are those that have been selected and are coached by the BCC leadership (II Tim. 2:1-2).  As groups grow in number they multiply into other groups so they can consistently stay effective as small groups and retain spiritual leadership from within.

Groups consist of people from all ages and stages of life.  Most of them meet in homes across the Quad Cities and beyond.  When groups meet at the church building, childcare helpers must meet Shepherd's Watch requirements.

Bible Studies

Expanding our knowledge and practice of God's Word is how we build our relationship with Him.

Monday Evening Precept Bible Study begins October 3 in the book of Zechariah. Are you curious about what happens at the end of time? Join this seven-week study. Register by calling Marilyn at (563) 332-6169 by September 12.

Tuesday Evening Women’s Bible Study will begin September 6 at 6:30. We will begin this fall studying 1st Peter. Come join us for an hour of study,
sharing and fellowship. For questions call Sandy (563) 359-1962 or Linda (563) 355-2452.

Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study will begin September 7 at 9:30 at BCC. We will study the book of Hebrews. Childcare available.

Wednesday Evening Women’s Bible Study will begin with a potluck and “get acquainted” evening on September 7 at the church in the classrooms across from the restrooms. We will begin at 6:30. If you are new to the study, please do not bring a dish to share. The food is our treat to you!! The following
Wednesday, September14, we will begin to study the book of Revelation. We will meet in the same rooms, from 6:30 - 7:45. For any questions call

Wednesday Evening Men’s Bible Study will start September 14, 6:30 - 7:45 p.m. Come for the fellowship and the fall kick-off for this study. Come
and also find out about the Men’s Ministries at BCC.

MOPS Bible Study (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers)

Every Thursday morning, MOPS moms gather at church for Bible study.

Bible Study Childcare Helpers are needed for the Wednesday morning Bible study and the MOPS Bible study. Groups meet weekly, September through May. Shepherd's Watch guidelines apply.
