Journey Groups

Journey Groups are small groups where the connections are made! These groups exist to promote authentic Christian friendships in an atmosphere of Biblical life application.

Groups include 8-12 people who meet weekly to study, share, and support each others’ Christian lives. Studies are based on the previous weekend’s sermon and each session lasts 10 weeks. The year is broken into 3 sessions: September-December; January-March; and March-May.

Journey Groups include adult members and regular attendees: all ages, married or single. We need Journey Group childcare helpers to support some groups during meeting times (approximately 1½ hours each week). Some groups meet at leaders’ homes, in various Quad City locations. When groups meet at the church building, helpers must meet Shepherd’s Watch requirements.

Bible Studies

Expanding our knowledge and practice of God’s Word, is how we build our relationship with Him.

Precept Study

This all-ladies group meets Mondays at 6:30 PM at BCC. Precept courses are written by Christian author,
Kay Arthur. Several women share the facilitating and teaching effort.

Women’s Bible Studies

Various studies meet at church throughout the week. September through May includes Mondays at 4:30 p.m.; Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.; and Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m. Year-long, there is a study Wednesday evening at 7:15 p.m.

Men’s Bible Studies

Karl Roberts leads the Wednesday study at BCC at 6:30 p.m.

MOPS Bible Study (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers)

Every Friday morning, MOPS moms gather at church for Bible study.

Bible Study Childcare Helpers are needed for the Wednesday morning Bible study and the MOPS Bible study. Groups meet weekly, September through May. Shepherd’s Watch guidelines apply.
